Vitamin B3, also known as Niacinamide, is a water-soluble vitamin partly synthesized by the body but very rarely stored:
- Helps improve skin luminosity and reduce dark spots by slowing the transfer of melanin from melanocytes to keratinocytes.
- Reinforces the barrier function of the skin by stimulating the synthesis of lipids in the horny layer. The epidermis is then restructured, the skin preserves its hydration while improving its texture.
